KLUG was created by current Monte Real Consulting CEO Victor Espinoza, having heard the plea of hundreds of corporate customers who were dissatisfied with the consulting options available to them. They either found technology-savvy consultants with poor business expertise, or industry experts with little or no technical knowledge. They longed for a company to offer true business process experts who could help them understand, choose and implement the best approaches to solve their business problems utilizing currently-available advanced technologies.
Along the way, Victor realized that these unhappy corporate clients usually fell into one of two categories. They had either a) fallen into the trap of “throwing” technology at problems (typically driven by industry experts with little or no technical knowledge), and thus were inundated with software of different stripes for every problem area in their business, or b) remained tribally loyal to a software brand (generally advised by technology-savvy consultants with poor business expertise) and experienced usability issues where they felt forced to adapt their business process to the way a particular piece of software, configured in a certain way, operated, thus often ending up processing their time-critical processes offline in Microsoft Excel.
KLUG emerged as the right alternative at the right time!
